Booking Your Appointment

Yes! Generally, an appointment is required so you can be paired with an expert stylist to help guide you. Of course, we will always do our best to accommodate walk-ins based on our availability.

Appointments can be booked here or you can call the store at 800-831-8697. We can’t wait to see you!

If you are hoping for a Friday or Saturday appointment, it is always best to book at least 6 weeks in advance. However, we do get last-minute cancellations, so you can always join our waitlist or check back for availability!

For weekday appointments, we recommend booking 1-2 weeks in advance, but we often have last-minute availability as well!

Our appointments are 1 hour and 15 minutes!

Planning Your Visit

VOWS Bridal is located at 130 Galen St, Watertown, MA 02472, just 15 minutes from downtown Boston! We’re a go-to destination for brides from all over New England, including Boston, Providence, southern New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Maine. Our curated collection features 1,000+ gowns, with size-inclusive samples up to size 34, so every bride can find the one in a space that feels like hers.

Yes, we have a large parking lot!
Please bring a bra for measurements and any undergarments you feel most comfortable in! You are welcome to bring your own shoes; however, we do have sample pairs for try-on.

You may bring up to 5 guests with you! However, many brides also prefer to shop one-on-one with their stylist or with a smaller crew. It is completely up to you and what you feel most comfortable doing!

Finding Your Dress

You will be greeted at the door by your stylist and shown to your private bridal suite! Your stylist will learn your vibe, talk details about your wedding day, and review your wishlist. You will then have the opportunity to shop the floor with your entourage and pull 5-6 gowns to start with! If you are comfortable, of course, your stylist will help you in and out of each gown and make sure each gown fits properly with clips. After hearing your feedback, your stylist can always pull more dresses accordingly! Once you say yes to the dress, we take your measurements and require a 50% deposit.

Our special order gowns range from $1,500 to $15,000, so there’s something for every style and budget! Pricing varies by designer and fabric. We also have off-the-rack options that you can take home the same day. Let your stylist know your budget at the start of your appointment, and she’ll make sure you only fall in love with gowns in your price range!
Half of our store is dedicated to sizes 6-12, and the other half is dedicated to sizes 14-34! We have the largest plus-size selection in Greater Boston.
Getting married sooner? You still have options! We have a selection of off-the-rack gowns you can leave with the same day, and some of our designers also offer rush and in-stock options. Let your stylist know your wedding date at the start of your appointment, and she’ll show you gowns that fit your timeline.

After You Say Yes

After saying YES! and celebrating, your stylist will guide you through the measurement process. Once your measurements are complete, we require a 50% deposit day of, and the rest of your gown can be paid off when the gown arrives in store or prior to.
Special order gowns are made for you after you say yes, and they typically arrive in 4-7 months, depending on the designer. To leave plenty of time for alterations, we recommend ordering 10-12 months before your wedding. Your stylist will give you an estimated arrival date when you place your order, and we’ll contact you as soon as your gown arrives.

All bridal gowns do require alterations. We work with 4 trusted seamstresses in the area; however, you may use whoever you like!
