Fall 2014 Collection

The Reem Acra bridal collection for Fall 2014 was a mix of whimsy and Goddess as lace and sheer fabric were the main highlights. However, the signature feather and tulle headpieces made their usual appearance as Acra attempted to put another spin on the popular ‘Gatsby’ trend. This collection was dedicated to the silhouette with modified and regular A-line and column silhouettes the most common theme and these styles were combined with tulle, organza and silk gazar materials with more than a hint of lace. • Juliet: This is an elegant off-the-shoulder wedding dress which also features a full chiffon skirt. The model in the collection also wore a feather headdress but that is entirely optional!
• Isabella: This is a gorgeous tulle wedding dress complete with a draped bodice. The huge ruffles skirt provides an elegant ball gown look and is ideal for pear-shaped ladies. The intricate detail in the embroidered midriff is a fitting finale.
• Carmen: This is a more modern look as it is a strapless bridal gown with ruffle cascade detail at the back. It has an almost ‘suit’ look and is ideal for a more informal ceremony when you still want to be at your most glamorous.

Spring 2015 Collection

This is the latest Reem Acra wedding dress collection and she really experiments since a host of different fabrics are used including tulle, silk chiffon and stretch satin. Yet again, major attention is paid to silhouettes with modified A-line, traditional ball gowns and column sheaths all making an appearance.

This particular gown provides a mermaid look and features the typical Reem Acra embroidered bodice detail along with a crepe back and illusion neckline. It is a sleeveless gown made from stunning satin. Like most of the Spring 2015 collection, this silk twill sheath gown is strapless and has a sweetheart neckline along with intricate embroidered details on the train and panels.
