Celebrities and marriage, is there a better combo?! Well for some that’s a “yes”, and for others it’s a “probably not”. We’ll see who lasts and who doesn’t after this year’s much awaited ceremonies. There’s already a good list going, and it’s just February. There sure are more to come as the year progresses, but here are some of the top contenders:

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt After years of dating and children, they’re finally tying the knot! We think these two will stick together, what a good match.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Billy Ray’s daughter and her Hunger Games star fiancé got engaged in June 2012, and are planning on a 2013 wedding.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger She won’t be walking down the aisle, she’ll be rockin’ down the aisle! We hear that this rocker couple is planning a “unique wedding” according to the Nickelback front man.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Oops, she’s doing it again! Hopefully the third time is the charm for Brit. Fingers crossed!

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux They’re now more than friends for this former Friends star! Excited to see what Jen will be wearing on the big day.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson Newlyweds part II? Maybe not. But we do know both Jessica and Eric are both overjoyed to make their new family official.

We certainly think that the wedding that has caused the most commotion has been Miley and Liam’s wedding. The former Hannah Montana star can certainly cause a stir in the tabloids from time to time. Because of this, will she have a crazy, over the top, enormous wedding?

She says no, that they will have a small intimate wedding when they do have one. She also said that she wants to have 30 different dresses, doesn’t really match up. Her engagement ring is without doubt extravagant, and different with yellow gold and a 3.5 karat circle diamond. So because of that, will she go with a low-key dress, or play up the extravagantness? We’ll have to see!

And who knows what her big day will actually look like from her erratic behavior from time to time. No one knows what she’s up to and no one knows what she will do next! Not very bride to be like behavior if you ask us!

Her constant partying and out of control ways are worrying people closest to her. Sources say she goes hard whenever hubby to be Liam leaves town, doesn’t sound good. If Miley wants to set a date, she should slow down on the partying, don’t you think so?

Either way, we’re excited to see what she has in store for the big day. It’s definitely one of the most anticipated nuptials of the year, along with the others on our list. Keep an eye out for all of these weddings, we sure there will be plenty of updates and even surprises to come!
