What should I expect during my appointment?
First, you will meet your expert stylist and chat about all things wedding! Prior to your appointment, you will send us your top 5 gowns that you would like to start with. You and your stylist will shop the floor for your wishlist gowns and any others that catch your eye.
Once your stylist begins to see what you are liking, they can certainly pull more for you!
What should I bring to my dress appointment?
If you have already chosen your undergarments, accessories or shoes, please bring them to your fitting! They will all play a major role in how your dream dress fits and to perfect your overall bridal look.Once your stylist begins to see what you are liking, they can certainly pull more for you!
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
You will be allowed to bring five guests! How fun does that sound?
How does bridal sizing run?
The simple truth is that wedding gowns run small. For example, If you are a size 10 in a regular dress, you are likely to be a size 12 or 14 in a wedding gown. The general rule to finding your bridal size is to add one to two sizes to your normal street clothing size.
How do I get my dress altered to fit?
We work with five amazing seamstresses throughout the greater Boston area. Of course, you can also use your own seamstress!
When should I make my alterations appointment?
We advise calling to schedule your first fitting eight months before your wedding to give yourself plenty of time to get in their books! Nobody wants to be stressed about their wedding gown being finished on time!
How many fitting appointments will I need?
It depends on how much work your gown requires. The average amount of fittings is between two to three. The fit of the dress is key to having your look your stunning best on your big day!
