Brides aren’t the only ones who need a bit of pampering to look their very best. Grooms are getting in on the beauty regimen action and brides couldn’t be happier. Below are six of the most effective tips to help you look and feel amazing on your wedding day.
1. Get a Haircut
Brides aren’t the only ones who need a bit of pampering to look their very best. Grooms are also getting in on the beauty regimen action. What better way to make sure those wedding photos are picture perfect? Below are six of the most simple and effective tips to help you look and feel amazing on the big wedding day.
2. Feel the Facial
Facials are not just for the bride! Facials for men are very common and a good idea to keep your skin looking great. In fact, it is a good idea to get a few facials before the wedding day, but be sure and schedule your first one a few months in advance. You want to know how your skin will react and what the esthetician thinks will benefit you most. Your skin will look fantastic and the photos will be fab!
3. Must-have Manicure
A “mani”cure is essential for the groom. The face and head are not the only things that the photographer will be taking pictures of. Think of those close ups shots of the rings. You want your nails to look clean and groomed. We are not talking about polish here, but a good manicurist can get your nails cut, filed and cleaned in a matter of minutes. It is a good idea to do this a few days before the wedding.
4. Tame your Brows
Unruly eyebrows… the struggle is real. If this is the case, don’t be afraid to get an eyebrow wax. The wax will simply clean up your brows, not shape them. It will make your appearance a bit neater and as a result, your overall look will be much sharper. Schedule this about a week before the big day. If you are hesitant, do a trial run months in advance to make sure you like the results.
5. Polish your Pearly Whites
Do you drink a lot of coffee, red wine, tea or anything else that can stain your teeth? If so, there are some simple, effective and affordable teeth whitening treatments you can do at home. There are tons of options out there, so try one a month or so before the wedding to see how you like the results. A pearly white smile is always a good thing!
6. Keep Hydrated
Did you know that drinking lots of water is excellent for your skin? If your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky. Nobody wants that! So keep that water bottle handy!
