The Story
Mikaella is the sister collection of the renowned designer, Paloma Blanca. Paloma Blanca was founded in 1937 by Manny Bernstein, and then taken over by his youngest brother, Harry. The company is based in Toronto, Canada, and is now made up of 150 individuals, including wedding gown designers, sewers, cutters, hand beaders, finishers and more. They started with evening wear, and in the 1970s, found their way to the wedding gown industry, and for that, we and many brides around the world are forever grateful!
Today, Mikaella remains in the Bernstein family.
The Wedding Gowns
Mikaella’s amazing designers never stop studying the latest fashion trends while staying true to the quality they are renowned for. Mikaella wedding gowns capture a classic and timeless look that appeals to both modern and traditional brides–old Hollywood glamour meets contemporary design. The dresses are meticulously crafted from the highest quality fabrics like Italian tulle or their signature Mikaella lace. All the embellishments and beading are hand-sewn with the utmost care.
Mikaella’s exquisite designs have won many prestigious bridal industry awards and have been featured in numerous wedding magazines, television shows and film productions. The dresses can be found in some of the world’s premiere best bridal shops in over 200 major cities around the world.
