The Proposal
Donnie had taken much time and effort to organize a huge birthday bash for Lauren. She was thrilled that all her friends and family had gathered for the celebration.. But… she didn’t suspect what was coming next. As the party began to kick into full gear, Donnie took to one knee, and, with everyone Lauren loves as his witnesses, asked her to marry him. Lauren says, “Having him by my side truly has been the best birthday gift ever!” Oh, and of course, she said YES!
The Theme
“We decided on a casual bohemian-inspired wedding,” Lauren says. “We incorporated as many different textures, colors, and patterns as possible.” The array of vibrant flowers, including Lauren’s stunning floral crown, brought all the details together, with a touch of vintage charm and a whisper of lace decor details. From the vintage jars to the burlap table coverings, all the details helped to bring their vision of the perfect day to life. They wanted to keep the wedding super fun, from ceremony to reception, as a reflection of themselves as individuals and as a couple.

The Dress
Lauren knew that VOWS Bridal Outlet would be the perfect place to find her dress. She wasn’t exactly sure what she was looking for, but had a bit of an idea. What she did know was that she wanted something unique.
Lauren adds, “Purchasing my dress was probably the easiest part of the whole wedding experience. VOWS had an amazing selection. Nyndia was the staff member who helped me, and she made me feel like a princess! She knew the bride-to-be’s style better than the bride herself. I was able to describe the elements of the dress that I was looking for, and she found exactly what I wanted.”
When Nyndia urged Lauren to try on the lace-loaded sheath gown by Liv Harris, she knew she had found the gown.
