Amsale Aberra was born in Ethiopia but moved to the United States aged 19 and ultimately worked her way to the top of the fashion design industry. Fall 2014 Collection
One of the main features of the Amsale Fall 2014 collection was the array of gorgeous sweetheart necklines on show. There were also gilded necklines and full skirts that created a jaw-dropping collection of bridal gowns. This is certainly a bridal gown for the demure bride seeking a more innocent look. It is an A-Line wedding dress with three-quarter sleeves, a sweetheart bodice and high neckline. A full length tulle skirt completes the look.
This dress evokes the classic mermaid style and features a beautifully hand-beaded illusion neckline along with straps. It is a sleeveless gown with a delightful ruffle skirt to finish.
This is one of the highlights of the collection as this strapless silk bridal gown in mermaid style comes with a dainty silk ribbon on the waist along with intricately seamed details on the bodice. This dress is certainly the epitome of the modern bride.
Spring 2015 Collection
This collection featured clean and simple dresses as Amsale went back to basics and produced a number of bridal gowns that are classically designed. This is not to say the gowns lack daring because there are filled with floral appliqués to produce a more feminine design. The lace was used to create more slimming forms and was gently draped over a host of slinky silhouettes. There is an element of transparency with sheer material on show yet in the main, this collection was all about good-old fashioned design!
Nicole StyleAmsale 2015 Collection
This is a natural waist gown in a classic A-Line silhouette along with a layered skirt and sweetheart neckline. It offers a more traditional look though the soft pink is a departure from classic white.
This appears to be a more informal type of bridal gown as it utilizes the best aspects of lace. This sleeveless gown also comes in a v-neckline and has a back lace appliqué.
